GUWAHATI: Three athletes from Assam brought laurels to the state by winning medals at the National Triathlon Championship held in Pune.
Nupur Deka clinched the gold medal in the girls’ 25–29 age group, while Devika Sarma also secured gold in the girls’ 20–24 category. Tushar Deka further added to Assam’s medal tally by winning the bronze medal in the boys’ 20–24 age group.
The impressive performances marked a successful outing for the Assam contingent at the national championship.
