GUWAHATI, July 26: The 15-day Guwahati Sports Association (GSA) Summer Cricket Camp 2026 started at Judges' Field in Guwahati on Sunday.
The camp was formally inaugurated by Sumit Ranjan Das, former Assam first-class cricketer and Chairman of the Senior Selection Committee of the Assam Cricket Association. Addressing the participants, Das highlighted the importance of structured coaching programmes in nurturing young talent, stating that such initiatives play a crucial role in laying a strong foundation for a successful cricketing career.
The camp is being conducted under the supervision of Salil Sinha, a former Assam List A cricketer and NCA Level II coach, along with Chandan Sharma, coach of the Assam Cricket Academy.
A total of 60 boys and girls have enrolled in the camp, which will concluded on August 9.
