New Star win with Rajveer’s ton
Online Staff/GUWAHATI, Dec 26: Rajveer Singh, the top-order batter, recorded the first century in the GSA Champions Trophy Cricket and helped New Star Club to register a 69-run win over River Rine Club at the Amingaon Cricket Ground today.
Rajveer, played an eye catching knock, scored 111 not out facing 69 balls, and there were 13 boundaries and three sixes in his innings.
Earlier in the first game of the day, City Cricket Club won by 22 runs against Gauhati Town Club. Yuvraj Tewari (2-19, 43) of Gauhati Town Club displayed all-round performance in the match.
