GUWAHATI, July 28: Hemanta Kumar Kalita, Advisor of the Boxing Federation of India and General Secretary of the Assam Amateur Boxing Association, has been nominated by the Boxing Federation of India as an Observer for the Commonwealth Games.
Kalita will closely observe and monitor the performance of the Indian boxing team during the Games and provide valuable feedback to support the continued development of Indian boxing.
His nomination is a recognition of his long-standing contribution to the promotion and development of boxing in India, particularly in Assam.
