Hriday shines in Guwahati’s dominant victory

Online Staff/GUWAHATI, April 4: Guwahati cruised to a commanding 10-wicket victory over ACA Secretary XI in the Pulin Das U-14 Inter-District Cricket Tournament held at the ACA Cricket Academy Ground in North Guwahati on Friday.
The standout performer of the match was Hriday Jyoti Kashyap, who delivered a sensational spell, taking 6 wickets for just 17 runs from 6.1 overs. His fiery performance forced ACA Secretary XI to bold out for a modest 97 in 30.1 overs. Zayan Zaman was the top scorer for ACA Secretary XI making 23 runs.
In response, Guwahati made light work of the chase, reaching the target in just 19 overs without losing a wicket. Partha Pratim Kashyap played a brilliant knock, finishing unbeaten on 53 runs, which included 8 boundaries. His opening partner, Tanveer Islam, also played an important role, scoring 41 runs with 4 boundaries and a six, as Guwahati comfortably wrapped up the win. I
