Maharana earn full points

Online Staff/GUWAHATI, Nov 4: Maharana Athletic Club earned full points in the GSA 'A' Division Football League defeating arch rival Gauhati Town Club at the Nehru Stadium here today. Maharana won the match 2-1.
Although both sides played good soccer from the beginning of the match, the first half failed to produce any goal. Maharana went ahead in the 56th minute through Rajesh Das. Gauhati Town Club got the equalizer within a very short period of time when Khakevi Assumi netted the goal in the 62nd minute. Maharan’s winning goal was also scored by Rajesh Das in the 66th minute.
Sunday’s match: Frontier Club vs Narengi Sporting Club.
