Guwahati Junior Tennis from Jan 29

Online Staff/GUWAHATI, Jan 10: Seventh edition of the Guwahati Open Junior Tennis Championship-2024, organised by Guwahati Tennis Association (GTA), will kick off at the RG Baruah Sports Complex in the city from January 29. The championship will be held for the Boy's and Girl's Singles - under 12, 14, 18 years and Boy's/Girl's (Combined) Singles - under 10 years respectively.
The tournament carries a total scholarship of Rs. 2 lakh 20 thousand for the winners and runners up. Cash scholarships will be awarded to the players from the quarter-final stage in all categories. The date of signing-in is January 28.
Scholarship for winners and runners-up:
Boy's and Girl's Singles
Under-18 years: Winner Rs. 10,000 and runners up Rs 8,000.
Under - 14 years: Winner Rs 8,000 and runners-up Rs. 6,000.
Under- 12 years: Winner Rs. 6,000 and runners-up Rs. 4,000.
Under – 10: Winner Rs 3,000 and runners-up Rs 2,000
