GUWAHATI: The champions of the inaugural Assam Premier League (APL) will walk away with a prize purse of Rs 50 lakh, while the runners-up will receive Rs 25 lakh, the Assam Cricket Association (ACA) announced the prize money on Wednesday.
The tournament has entered its business end, with Guwahati Royals, Barpeta Braves, Dibrugarh Warriors and Barak Legends making it to the semi-finals.
The two semi-final matches are scheduled to be played on Friday.
